Beard wash, shampoo or cleanser whatever it may be referred to is simply a less harmful version of regular shampoo.
Unlike regular shampoo which is made for removing heavy grime and dirt from the scalp, beard shampoo is made with less harmful ingredients to ensure that your beard is cleansed without removing the natural oil that your skin produces.
Our solid beard wash is ~100g. Similar size to regular soap bars. Each bar will last 60+ days, far outlasting liquid based beard wash. It's also travel friendly as you don't have to worry about it conforming to travel size.
Your beard does not need to be washed everyday. 3 times a week is the sweet spot following the below:
1. Wet the beard with warm water.
2. Rub the shampoo bar between your hands to work up a lather.
3. Wash the beard ensuring every side is covered. Use your fingertips to really get the shampoo to the root of your beard hair.
4. Rinse thoroughly ensuring no residue is left behind. Pat dry the beard and follow up with beard oil to keep the beard moisturised and hydrated.
We hand make all our products in small batches in our studio in South London using raw, natural and organic products. This ensure you get a product worthy of putting onto your beard and not some mass produced product filled with cheap ingredients that has been sitting on the shelf for a while.
